Finland - ILO Cooperation
Finland has been an ILO member State since 1920 and is a key partner of the ILO in promoting the Decent Work Agenda. It has ratified 102 Conventions and four Protocols, including all eight Fundamental and all four Governance Conventions as well as 90 technical Conventions
Finland's development cooperation priorities
The aim of Finland’s development policy is to support developing countries’ efforts to eradicate poverty and inequality and promote sustainable development. Development policy is an integral part of Finland's foreign and security policy, of which development cooperation is an essential pillar of implementation.The implementation of Finnish development policy is guided by the 2016 Government Report on Development Policy and the activities are based on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
