With an aim to sensitize employers on HIV/AIDS workplace policy and programmes and the need to integrate HIV/AIDS into the existing occupational safety and health (OSH) programmes of public and private sector enterprises, the project organized two workshops in Delhi and Mumbai on 3 - 4 and 11 - 12 December 2007, respectively in partnership with the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and Mumbai District AIDS Control Society (MDACS). Fifty four OSH professionals and Medical Officers from the public and private sector enterprises from all over the country participated in this two-day workshop.
