The reading room of the ILO Library is currently closed for renovations and will remain inaccessible until the end of June 2023. Nevertheless, our librarians can help with any information requests through library@ilo.org. National legislation


  1. The ILO Library is home to one of the world’s largest collections of national labour legislation. The collection contains consolidated laws, statues, decrees and gazettes for over 180 countries and territories in their original languages.

    The ILO's International Labour Standards Department reviews legislation for its NATLEX database of national labour law. NATLEX serves as an index of the labour laws found in the official gazettes and other legal compilations.
