Reporting on forced labour and fair recruitment: An ILO toolkit for Mongolian journalists

This toolkit was developed to help journalists report on fair recruitment and forced labour.

This toolkit was initially developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO). In 2020, ILO consultants adapted the toolkit to Mongolia’s context in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia under Phase 2 of the ILO project “Sustaining GSP-Plus Status by Strengthened National Capacities to Improve ILS Compliance and Reporting” in Mongolia (MNG/17/50/EUR)”.

In 2024, the toolkit was updated to reflect recent developments in the national legislative framework on forced labour and labour migration under the ILO Bridge II Project, which is funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL). The Bridge II Project aims at supporting global and national efforts to combat forced labour under the 2014 ILO Protocol and Recommendation on Forced Labour.
