This policy brief presents a project of the ILO in Jordan to carry out Green Works and generate employment for Syrian refugees and Jordanian host communities through employment-intensive investment approaches

The ILO intervention described in this policy brief focuses on the construction of green community assets such as water cisterns and drip irrigation, the terracing of slopes, and tree planting to benefit local farmers and communities using labour-intensive methods to create immediate jobs.
