  2. Building Capacity for Migrant Workers’ Access to Just Compensation, Post-Return

    28 February - 2 March 2018

    The Integrated Programe on Fair Recruitment (FAIR project) will conduct a training workshop “Building Capacity for Migrant Workers’ Access to Just Compensation, Post-Return” to help develop the capacities of the caseworkers of Sentro ng mga Nagkakaisa at Progresibong Manggagawa (SENTRO) to identify, develop and, with the help of partners abroad, seek damages on behalf of migrant workers who have been exploited, trafficked or injured in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR).

  3. Training on Fair Recruitment of Philippines and Hong Kong Associations of Recruitment Agencies

    The Integrated Programe on Fair Recruitment (FAIR project) is committed to exploring new ideas that could help reduce deceptive and abusive recruitment practices. The FAIR project has undertaken the training of Philippines and Hong Kong Kong private recruitment agency associations on fair recruitment.

  4. Consultation Workshop On Standard Contract For Domestic Work In Viet Nam

    10 November 2017

    In order to introduce draft contract to key stakeholders for feedback, on both the content and on ideas for dissemination, Bureau of Industrial Relations and Wage, GFCD and ILO will host a consultation workshop for tripartite constituents and stakeholders. The workshop will also aim to validate the draft contract and bring out new perspectives on the following steps in the path of decent work for domestic workers.

  9. Decent Work for Domestic Workers Begins at Home Campaign

    1 - 30 June 2015

    In support of the global campaign to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the adoption of the Domestic Workers Convention (No. 189) 2011, on 16 June 2015, ILO officials from Manila Office joined their colleagues around the world in raising awareness of domestic workers’ rights and responsibilities as employers of domestic workers, with a simple gesture of taking photos holding the campaign signs with either their domestic workers, loved ones or friends.

  10. Partners' Meeting and Assessment Session on the Implementation of the Domestic Workers Empowerment Programme (DWEP)

    29 - 30 May 2015

    The ILO and Blas Ople Policy Center and Training Institute jointly organized a two-day culminating activity to convene implementing partners of the Domestic Workers Empowerment Programme (DWEP) in the country and provide a platform for sharing lessons from implementation that seeks to address the vulnerabilities of domestic workers by focusing on self-empowerment and economic rights of domestic workers.
