The ICA intervenes at the 108th ILC Committee that is considering an ILO Centenary Declaration
The ICA Director General participated and made a statement as an observer at the International Labour Conference’s Committee that is considering an ILO Centenary Declaration.
Referring to the century long history of collaboration between the international cooperative movement and the ILO and its constituents, Mr Bruno Roelants indicated the support of the international cooperative movement toward a Centenary Declaration.
Noting that the final report of the Global Commission on the Future of Work referred to cooperatives he indicated that the text would benefit from an explicit mention of cooperatives’ contributions to the changing world of work.
