18th American Regional Meeting
This meeting will focus on the themes taken up in the Director-General's report, in particular regarding progress made by countries over the past four years with the Decent Work Agenda and the principal challenges faced by the region in maintaining patterns of growth with social inclusion.

Seventeenth American Regional Meeting
At four-yearly intervals, the American Regional Meeting brings together the political, economic and social actors from the countries of the Region. This Seventeenth Meeting will focus particularly on the themes taken up in the Director-General's report, which sets out the basis for the discussions and for strategic planning for the ILO's programme for the Region in the years to come.

Sixteenth American Regional Meeting
This Regional Meeting is intended to provide a forum for tripartite delegations to express their opinions on the themes addressed by the Report prepared by the Director-General of the ILO for this meeting.

Fifteenth American Regional Meeting
The International Labour Organization (ILO) held its XVth Regional Meeting of ILO member States in the Americas to seek a "productive solution" to the region's labour troubles, at a time when the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean are facing a situation marked by a rise in unemployment, an increase in poverty and a pronounced decline in social and labour conditions.
