ILO to issue report on Global Employment Trends for Youth
GENEVA (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to issue its Global Employment Trends report for Youth 2017 (GET Youth).
The new report offers the latest global and regional information and projections on several indicators of the labour market for young people, including employment, unemployment and vulnerable employment.
It also presents a number of policy considerations in light of the persistent challenges facing policy makers and discusses partnerships to scale up youth employment action around the globe.
Global Employment Trends for Youth 2017, along with other public information material, will be under embargo until Monday 20 November 2017 at 21:00 GMT (22:00 CET). An advance electronic copy of the report and some associated media material will be available upon request by contacting the ILO Department of Communication at newsroom@ilo.org.
