Checkpoint on the road to end child labour, says ILO's Chief

The number of child labourers has declined dramatically from 215 million to 168 million. Despite this progress, the ILO warns that the goal of eliminating the worst forms of child labour may not be reached by 2016. ILO Director General Guy Ryder says The III Global Conference on Child Labour (Brasilia, October 8-10, 2013) is a vitally important moment to take stock of international progress on the Hague Roadmap to end child labour.
