husband must respect his wife’s practice of Buddhism, make no attempts to convert her, allow their children to freely practice their religion and refrain from insulting Buddhism. If he violates any of these mandates, the Buddhist woman may divorce her husband, and the husband will be forced to relinquish his share of jointly owned property and lose guardianship of their children.
