Women inspectors reach out to workers on the factory floor

ILO has supported the creation of a gender inclusive labour inspectorate in Bangladesh through training of female labour inspectors and the creation of a comprehensive inspection checklist that protects the rights of both women and men in the workplace. The work is carried out by ILO's Improving Working Conditions in the Ready-Made garment Sector programme supported by Canada, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
