The ILO in Jordan has developed a gaming app to help young people explore future career pathways that are in demand in the labour market.

Career guidance and counselling are key in supporting youth in their transition from skills and education to decent employment.

The application, called “My Future Career Path,” allows young players to navigate ten different games, while helping them discover their abilities and interests in different Technical and Vocational Education and Training career pathways.

The interactive application is based on information and content developed in a text book manual on career guidance by the ILO and the Ministries of Education and Labour in Jordan.

The ILO is supporting youths in Jordan in areas of career counselling and helping them make informed decisions about their future career options as part of broader activities under the PROSPECTS programme, which is spearheaded by the Government of the Netherlands.

PROSPECTS focuses on three key pillars: education, employment and protection. For more information, see: Partnership for improving prospects for forcibly displaced persons and host communities
