    Under the aegis of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth, the Government of Mongolia and the International Labour Organization organize this webinar in collaboration with the Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) of Mongolia to facilitate knowledge sharing among policymakers, practitioners and experts working towards the promotion of youth employment in Mongolia.

  2. Training on Extending Social Protection to Herders Held for Social Insurance Officers

    23 - 25 June 2021

    Training of Trainers was organized for social insurance officers from Uvs, Khovd, and Bayan-Ulgii provinces between 23 and 25 June on the topic of extending social protection to herders. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the training was held online and a total of 49 officers attended.

  5. Performance related pay system in health and education sectors of Mongolia

    Tripartite constituents of Mongolia have been undertaking efforts to strengthen collective bargaining as a central mechanism for regulating labour relations. This exercise is a part of such efforts to improve wage setting by defining performance related pay (PRP) system in health and education sectors, and will be organized in series of workshops.

    “Extending Social Protection to Herders with Enhanced Shock Responsiveness” UN Joint Project, led by International Labour Organization in Mongolia is establishing Herder programme at National Lifelong Learning Education institution in Mongolia ensuring nation-wide sustainable sources of skills learning and awareness raising knowledge for herders.

    “Extending Social Protection to Herders with Enhanced Shock Responsiveness” UN Joint Project, led by International Labor Organization in Mongolia is conducting a Study on Herders’ Behavior towards Social and Health Insurance research through the implementation agreement with Independent Research Institute of Mongolia NGO (IRIM) to better understand herders’ behaviors towards social and health insurance schemes.
