    28 - 30 November 2016

    Healthcare workers in China face high risks of occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens including HIV in their daily medical practice. Protecting healthcare workers’ rights and improving their occupational safety and health conditions will leads to better medical service.

  2. Seminar on Pro-employment Macroeconomic Policy

    The seminar is jointly organized by the ILO, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS), and Beijing Normal University in Beijing with a focus on exchanging Chinese and international experiences to support the Chinese Government in developing it's pro-employment macroeconomic policy framework.

  5. Introductory Training on Labour Market Information and Analysis

    The training aims at familiarizing non-statistical stakeholders with the use of labour market information, including the data source (LFS) and the processes involved in generating it; and with basic issues involved in the analysis of labour market information (LMI).

  6. Evaluation Workshop of the National Action Plan on the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour (2012-2016)

    14 November 2016

    The evaluation workshop will be attended by key national stakeholders who participated directly and contributed to the implementation of the National Action Plan on WFCL during the period of 2012 and 2016. An evaluation team will present the findings of the assessment in terms of the achievements of the actions against child labour, challenges during the implementation and the good practices emerged and related lessons learnt. The participants of an evaluation workshop will also discuss and approve recommendations for further actions on child labour in Mongolia.

  7. Workshop on China-EU Labour Migration--Scope and potential of China-EU two way labour mobility, recruitment costs and complaint mechanism

    14 - 16 November 2016

    A three-day workshop will be jointly organized by the ILO and China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) under the Support to EU-China Dialogue on Migration and Mobility Project. The workshop aims to deepen communication, enhance legal migration and mobility opportunities between China and EU and promote the rights of migrant workers.

  9. Consultation Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals and Decent Work Indicators

    5 - 6 October 2016

    The workshop aimed at introducing SDG and decent work indicators, with a particular focus on methodological aspects related to definitions and interpretations to national stakeholders including the National Statistical Office, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and social partners.

    The ILO and State Administration of Work Safety of China jointly organized the 8th China International Work Safety Forum in Beijing during 27-29 September 2016 in Beijing. The Forum aims to provide a platform to identify key issues, share technical experiences, and explore potential opportunities to promote occupational safety and health across the globe.
