  1. ILO-CMTU Training Workshop for Trade Union Lawyers and Legal Advocates: Informal Economy

    23 - 24 October 2019

    This workshop aims at improving CMTU legal services to better respond to the needs of unions, members and workers in the informal economy. The training workshop is supported by the RBSA project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS).

  2. ILO/UN Mongolia Meeting on Promoting Decent Work with a focus on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work

    22 October 2019

    The meeting aims at a greater awareness of the ILO work and priorities among the UN colleagues in Mongolia; and more and expanded engagements in promoting decent work and contributing SDGs between the UN agencies and the ILO social partners in the country.

  3. CMTU/ILO Sub-Regional Seminar on Informal Economy: Trade Union Policies and Actions

    21 - 22 October 2019

    This is a follow up activity to the Inter-regional Seminar on Effective use of the ILS to promote formalization including through effective wage setting systems that was held on 23–24 July 2019 in Kyrgyzstan. The seminar is supported by the RBSA project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS).

  4. ILO-UN Women Conference on Gender Equality and the Future of Work

    23 - 24 September 2019

    The ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia and UN Women China Office jointly organized a Conference on Gender Equality and the Future of Work, from 23 to 24 September, in Beijing to take stock of the progress made and explore ways forward.

  5. ILO/MONEF Work Planning Exercise for Promoting Formalization Project

    This is a work planning exercise with MONEF to operationalize an Employer lead component under the ILO RBSA project “Promoting formal employment for inclusive and diversified economic growth"

  6. MONEF Strategic Planning Workshop

    10 - 11 September 2019

    The Mongolian Employers’ Federation (MONEF) will organize this workshop to review and discuss its draft strategic plan with technical inputs of the ILO’s Bureau for Employers’ Activities (ACT/EMP).

  7. The ILO/GASI Seminar on Labour Inspection and Strategic Compliance Planning

    10 September 2019

    The ILO and the General Agency for Specialized Inspection (GASI) will discuss the ILO Strategic Compliance Planning Approach towards strengthening labour inspection process in Mongolia. This seminar is organized within the framework of the RBSA project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS).

  8. ILO-CMTU Training on Organizing Workers in the Formal Economy and Collective bargaining

    27 - 30 August 2019

    This is the first in a three-training series that aim at enhancing the capacity of trade union trainers and organizers in working with and reaching out to workers in the informal economy. The whole exercise is supported by the ILO RBSA project “Formal Employment Is Promoted for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia”.

  9. Workshop to discuss the 3-R Trainer’s kit Rights, Responsibilities and Representation for Children, Youth and Families

    19 August 2019

    The Authority for Family, Child and Youth Development of Mongolia (AFCYD) will organize this workshop as an initial step of improving training tools and capacity for use in communities with children, youth and families, especially those at risk of child labour and trafficking of children and young people for labour or sexual exploitation. The ILO project on Sustaining GSP-Plus Status by Strengthened National Capacities to Improve ILS Compliance and Reporting-Mongolia (Phase 2), funded by the European Union, supports the whole exercise to adapt an trainers’ kit and train national trainers in 2019-2020.

  10. Mongolia’s Green Youth Forum, Zavkhan, Mongolia

    24 June - 1 July 2019

    A forum with the Decent Work for Youth Network of Mongolia developed green entrepreneurship and project action plans for nine aimags in the Western region of Mongolia.
