  1. 3-R Training of Trainers and Validation Workshop

    8 - 14 January 2020

    Within the framework of the EU-funded project on Sustaining GSP-Plus Status by Strengthened National Capacities to Improve ILS Compliance and Reporting-Mongolia Phase 2 (MNG/17/50/EUR), the Authority for Family, Child and Youth Development (AFCYD) will organize a training of trainers on 3-R Kit: Empowerment for Children, Youth and Families: Rights, Responsibilities and Representation (TOT) and Validation Workshop.

  2. Influential voices of Mongolia call for zero tolerance for violence and harassment at work

    1 January 2020 - 10 December 2022

    From actors to politicians, activists to athletes – a wide range of influential people from various sectors of Mongolian society have joined forces to urge ratification of C190, the very first international treaty to recognize the right of everyone to a world of work free from violence and harassment, including gender-based violence and harassment.

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) and its affiliate –the Construction Workers’ Trade Union are organizing this training for members-tower crane operators to improve their understanding of employment contracts. The training is supported by the ILO RBSA project “Formal Employment Is Promoted for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia”.

  3. Tripartite Workshop on Reduction of Informal Employment in the Construction Sector through Labour Inspection

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) will host a tripartite workshop as part of its efforts to address issues and challenges of informal workers in the construction sector. The workshop is supported by the ILO RBSA project “Formal Employment Is Promoted for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia”.

  6. Workshop on Youth Green Entrepreneurship Opportunities for the Circular Economy

    13 - 14 November 2019

    One of the PAGE activities in Mongolia was the creation and support of a Decent Work for Youth Network (DW4YN). The Youth Network has developed and held a number of knowledge and capacity building activities over the course of the 4-year PAGE programme in Mongolia. This workshop on Youth Green Entrepreneurship opportunities for the Circular Economy was the last activity for the Youth Network under the PAGE programme.

  7. Seminar with Commercial Banks on Green Entrepreneurship and A Just Transition for Sustainable Investments

    This full-day seminar was organised in collaboration with the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association (MSFA). The aim of the seminar was to discuss just transition and green jobs identification and promotion in the context of the commercial banks’ investment activities and lending products.
