  1. Employers are trained on the application of the newly revised Labour Law (2021)

    The Mongolian Employers' Federation (MONEF) organised a series of training workshops for employers, human resource managers and legal officers of the textile, energy, mining, construction and road and transport sectors to improve labour law compliance at the enterprise level with the support of the "SDG Aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia" project funded by the European Union and implemented by the UNDP, FAO and ILO.

  2. Construction workers discuss to further improve working conditions in high-risk sectors in Mongolia

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) organised a tripartite consultation meeting to discuss the monitoring findings of the implementation of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health. The aim of the consultation is to improve informed decision-making and working conditions in the construction sector. The workshop is organized under the SDG-Aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia.

  5. Building capacity of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) activists in Mongolia

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) carried training seminars for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) activists from n Mongolia's mining, energy, construction, and textile sectors, with the support of "SDG-aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia" project funded by the European Union.

  6. Employers in Mongolia trained to promote safe and respectful workplaces

    10 - 25 October 2022

    In October, the Mongolian Employers' Federation (MONEF) arranged a series of six training sessions on the responsibilities of employers in fostering a safe and respectful workplace free from harassment and violence. The events were organised in the framework of the "Trade for Decent Work" project, funded by the European Union.

  7. Training seminars across Mongolia to strengthen Labour Law compliance

    The General Agency for Specialized Investigation (GASI) conducts training seminars for 540 employers and employees in close partnership with the ILO social partners in the framework of the "SDG-Aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia" project, funded by the European Union.

  8. Promoting decent and productive work for all on the SDG Open Day in Mongolia

    On September 10th, the ILO and its partners participate in the SDG Open Day to promote the Sustainable Development Goal 8 about "decent work and economic growth" in the framework of the “Trade for Decent Work” project funded by the European Union.

  9. Mongolian version of the Handbook of procedures relating to international labour Conventions and Recommendations launched

    On September 9, the ILO officially launched the Mongolian translation of the Handbook of procedures relating to international labour Conventions and Recommendations (Centenary Edition 2019) within the framework of the "Decent Work and Trade" project funded by the European Union.

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Summer 2022 edition of its Global Youth Forum – an experiential learning platform bringing youth at the forefront of efforts aimed at supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achieving its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
