  1. Journalists build skills in reporting on forced labour

    17 - 19 January 2024

    The Government of Mongolia and its social partners have been working closely with the ILO to effectively implement ILO's fundamental principles and rights at work, with particular focus on eliminating forced and compulsory labour in Mongolia.

  2. Mongolian trade unions to fight against forced labour

    15 - 16 January 2024

    The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) and the ILO have jointly organized a two-day training workshop on forced labour for trade unions within the framework of the ILO Bridge-II project funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL).

  1. Mongolian journalists speak for human rights and abolition of forced labour

    11 November 2023

    In cooperation with the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia (NHRCM), the ILO is organizing a meeting on forced labour and human rights with journalists and media professionals. Among others, the meeting aims at introducing the ILO media toolkit on forced labour and fair recruitment and promoting the upcoming training for journalists. The meeting is co-funded by the ILO Bridge II project.

  2. ILO launched a new project to promote transition to formality in Mongolia

    27 September 2023

    On 27 September 2023, the International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the Formalization of the Informal Economy Project in Mongolia. The project will provide technical assistance to the tripartite constituents of Mongolia in implementing an integrated approach to formalization.

  3. Young Leaders Boot Camp 2023

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Young Leaders Boot Camp 2023 – a two-week interactive learning experience which welcomes undergraduate, graduate students and young professionals seeking to acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career in the UN system and other IOs.

  4. Summer Global Youth Forum 2023: Youth at the forefront of achieving the 2023 agenda for sustainable development

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Summer 2023 edition of its Global Youth Forum – an experiential learning platform bringing youth at the forefront of efforts aimed at supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achieving its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
