Youth discusses employment challenges they face amidst COVID-19 pandemic

Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia (MLSP) and Junior Chamber International Mongolia (JCI Mongolia) are organizing a three-day event to discuss challenges of young people facing in labour market amidst pandemic. The event is organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Mongolia.

The Positive Mongolia Forum invites broader participation of public and private sector representatives, including young men and women, and persons with disabilities, to discuss employment challenges they are facing in the context of sustainable development, economic growth, decent employment and equality.

Objectives of the event:

  • Identify common challenges in youth employment and develop proposals for policy interventions and solutions;
  • Identify common challenges that many persons with disabilities face in employment and propose solutions.



The event will be organized in three days:

Monday, 20 September 2021
08.00 a.m.-12.00 p.m.  Panel discussion I – Youth employment
13.30 p.m.-17.00 p.m.  Panel discussion II – Employment of the persons with disabilities

Thursday, 23 September 2021
08.30 a.m.-12.00 p.m.  Panel discussion III – Conclusion meeting

Monday, 27 September 2021
