In September 2020, 32 herders, herder cooperative representatives, lifelong education teachers, social insurance officers, and trade union delegates from five soums (lower administration unit of the province) in Zavkhan province attended a two-day training in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, as part of the ILO-Led UN Joint Programme “Extending Social Protection to Herders with Enhanced Shock Responsiveness.”
