(ILO News) – The ILO- CEC Workshop on “Belt and Road” International Cooperation and International Labour Standards was held on 13 October 2021 in Hefei City, Anhui Province, China. More than 70 representatives from local employers’ organisations, multinational enterprises, state-owened enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises attended the meeting.

The meeting topics include the Application of International Labour Standards in China, Opportunities and challenges faced by international cooperation under “the Belt and Road Initiative”, Labour Relations, Working Conditions, Enterprise Compliance and Gender equality at work, etc.

Through the workshop, the representatives of employer organizations and enterprises increased their knowledge and understanding of international labour standards, and its role in enhancing enterprise development.
