    This research is conducted by the research team of Institute for Labor Studies, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. This study presents both the current situation and potential for green employment in China, as well as results of surveys conducted in eight companies in the power industry.

    The programme is to contribute to long-term socio-economic development by strengthening enforcement and implementation capacities in the field of labour inspection, improving compliance with labour legislation, and thus, rendering labour inspection more responsive to the objective of promoting social justice and Decent Work, empowering it to address current challenges.

  5. Livelihood Recovery Project in Sichuan

    Livelihood Recovery Project in Sichuan is to help 5,000 farmers who lost their farmland and 600 disabled farmers or their family members due to the 2008 earthquake, to increase their income and employment viability through “Start and Improve Your Business” (SIYB) training and vocational training, meanwhile, to help Red Cross develop their capacity to plan and implement employment promotion projects, especially in vocational training and “Start and Improve Your Business” (SIYB) training.

  6. Preventing Trafficking for Labour Exploitation in China

    The project is a partnership between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF), and receives funding from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) with the goal of reducing trafficking for labour exploitation through the promotion of labour rights of women and children in China.
