    The Ministry of Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development (OPHRD) with the support of the ILO is organizing a validation workshop on the World of Work Crises Response Strategy. The strategy gives the stakeholders of the world of work a clear direction on steps to be taken for preparedness, mitigation and response to crises. And centralises the role of Decent Work and human centered recovery.

  4. Joint Labour Inspection Pilot at the Oceanic Fishing Port of Belawan, Medan, North Sumatra

    4 - 5 July 2023

    Through this initiative, the ILO Accelerator Lab 8.7 programme (AL) aims to provide a series of knowledge-sharing and technical meeting sessions to improve the existing labour inspection model including on-site training simulation to conduct onboard labour inspection in fishing vessels.

  5. Summer Global Youth Forum 2023: Youth at the forefront of achieving the 2023 agenda for sustainable development

  1. Launching the Innovative Interventions on Scaling Up HIV/AIDS Prevention at the Workplace

    27 June 2023

    The ILO has carried out several ‘innovative interventions’, including the development of an online training module on HIV prevention at work, the integration of of modules in the OSH e-platform of the Ministry of Manpower and survey on HIV vulnerability amongst young worker and access to social protection.

    The half-day workshop was organised in collaboration with the Labour Department of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.

  3. Knowledge sharing workshop

    23 June 2023

    This workshop aims to share and discuss the findings of the ILO global study on financing mechanisms for promoting social inclusion in skills and lifelong learning systems and its policy implications for Malaysia.

  4. Training of Trainers (ToT) on Child Labour organized by ILO and MOLE

    18 - 22 June 2023

    With funding support from Japan, International Labour Organization (ILO) partnered with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) and the Integrated Resource Development for Tri-People (IRDT) in the implementation of capacity building of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) ministries, law enforcement agencies, worker's and employer's organizations, and stakeholders to promote compliance and enforcement of child labour laws.

  9. World Day Against Child Labour (WDACL) 2023 Celebration in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)

    The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the first World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 as a way to highlight the plight of children engaged in child labour. Observed on June 12th, the day is intended to serve as a catalyst for the growing worldwide movement against child labour.
