    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Young Leaders Boot Camp 2023 – a two-week interactive learning experience which welcomes undergraduate, graduate students and young professionals seeking to acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career in the UN system and other IOs.

  2. Summer Global Youth Forum 2023: Youth at the forefront of achieving the 2023 agenda for sustainable development

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Summer 2023 edition of its Global Youth Forum – an experiential learning platform bringing youth at the forefront of efforts aimed at supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achieving its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  1. Adaptive Social Protection Forum: Social Insurance and Climate Change in Indonesia

    8 June 2023

    The event aims to facilitate policy dialogues among tripartite representatives and experts on the potential of social insurance to mitigate climate shocks as well as potential challenges of workers and businesses and share results of the study and recommendations to Adaptive Social Protection.

    The purpose of the event is to share key findings from the sub-sectoral skills analysis for the shipbuilding, international logistics and seafaring maritime sub-sectors and to launch the sub-sectoral skills analysis reports.

  2. Coordination Meeting on the Establishment of Joint Inspection Team for Labour Norms on Fisheries Vessels at Fishing Ports within the Jurisdiction of the Central Java Province

    The meeting aims to officially announce and introduce the issuance of the new regional secretary decree on the joint inspection in Central Java.

  6. Inter-Sectoral Workshop on the Implementation and Monitoring of the ASEAN Roadmap on the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour by 2025

    15 - 16 May 2023

    The ASEAN Secretariat, with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Addressing Labor Exploitation in Fishing in ASEAN (ALFA) project, will host the Inter-Sectoral Workshop on Implementation and Monitoring of the ASEAN Roadmap on Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour by 2025 on 15-16 May 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand

    National Evaluation Workshop on Green Jobs and Just Transition in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry (Malaysia)

    10 - 11 May 2023

    This workshop will present the experiences and lessons learnt under the ILO project on Just Transition, evaluate the project results, and strategize the future courses of action by the partner unions in Malaysia (MTUC and its affiliates in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry).

  8. Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to Decent Work through the launch of Decent Work Country Programme for next five years

    The Government of Pakistan, employers’ and workers’ organizations launched the next generation of the Decent Work Country Programme for Pakistan during a historic signing ceremony held at the International Labour Organization’s Country Office in Islamabad on 4 May 2023.
