Rebuilding Better: Building your Business with Canva for Women Entrepreneurs

The ILO Rebuilding Better project is organizing three webinars in Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia with the graphic design platform Canva for women entrepreneurs to learn how they can improve their business online marketing and social media presence. The webinars will be followed by national competitions for participants to showcase their recently acquired graphic design skills.

Description

The ILO Rebuilding Better: Fostering Business Resilience Post-COVID-19 project in collaboration with the graphic design platform Canva, has teamed up to support women entrepreneurs learn new digital skills to improve their businesses. The ILO and Canva are organizing three workshop webinars in Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia to teach women entrepreneurs how to leverage the software and enhance your business online presence using graphics.

The workshop will consist of an introduction to Canva, basics of graphic design and advice on building your brand and navigating social media marketing. The webinar will teach women entrepreneurs vital skills in order to improve their digital presence and overall branding.

The events will be followed by national competitions where women entrepreneurs can showcase what they learned by designing a Canva poster that focusing on the theme ‘resilience’. Selected winners will be given free one-year Canva subscriptions which they can use for their businesses.

Social media and digital platforms have skyrocketed due to the COVID-19, this partnership will support women entrepreneurs develop new skills to help recover and rebuild from the crisis.

The webinars are open to women entrepreneurs only.
