  1. Independent Mid-term Evaluation of a Technical Assistant Project: The Viet Nam Labour Law Implementation Project

    The purpose of the mid-term evaluation of the ILO project in Vietnam is to address issues of project design, implementation, lessons learned, replicability and recommendations for the future of the programme and for IR related work in Vietnam. It concerns a mid-term evaluation indicating a larger focus on such issues as longer term sustainability and mid-term suggestions for adjustment of directions, activities and monitoring arrangements.

  2. Raising awareness workshop on ILO Convention No. 87, 98 and Declaration 1998 for Key Business Leaders of VCCI

    As the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) would have to play an active role in the final steps of the ratification process, as well as during the incorporation of the three Conventions into national legislation, it is particularly important to analyse all aspects relevant to employers of Convention No. 87, 98 and 105, as well as the costs and benefits of the ratification for Vietnamese employers’ community.

  2. National Consultative Workshop on Developing Trade Union Strategies for Inclusion of Vulnerable Women Workers

    A two-day consultative workshop to be held for women trade unionists with an aim to identify trade union initiatives and develop strategies for the inclusion and mainstreaming of vulnerable women workers and the issues faced by them.

  3. National Workers Conference on Addressing Precarious Work in the Philippines

    The International Labour Organization, through the ILO Bureau for Workers' Activities (ILO-ACTRAV), together with the Federation of Free Workers will hold a “National Workers Conference on Addressing Precarious Work in the Philippines”. The event aims to contribute towards strengthening the organizational capacities of the unions and workers’ organizations for promoting actions for Decent Work for workers in precarious and informal employment relations. In addition, it aims to assist unions in the Philippines to develop national strategy to address Precarious Work in the Philippines.

  1. National Workshop on Organizing, Collective Bargaining and Wage Policy in Timor Leste

    The workshop aims to contribute towards technical and organizational capacities of trade union representatives to propose concrete policies and actions for promotion of decent wage policy in Timor-Leste.

  2. Training of Trainers (ToT) on Freedom of Association (FoA) for Women in the Export Processing Zones (EPZs)

    Targeting trade union federations and confederations, the ToT will focus on a core group of trainers of women unionists in EPZs. It shall focus discussions on international labour standards and applicable local laws on on freedom of association and collective bargaining using the localized manual developed by the ILO.

  3. Validation Workshop on Workers' Needs and Challenges in Disaster Settings

    The workshop aims at sharing findings from the Employment Promotion in Disaster Response Project (EPDR Project) research and deepen the understanding of trade unions needs through an interactive discussion among relevant stakeholders.

  4. Strengthening, Organising & Leadership Capabilities of Trade Union Cadres for Promotion of CLS Ratification Campaign

    A two- day training programme for zone and district level trade union leaders being conducted in collaboration with Joint Action Forum of Trade Unions (JAF) - West Bengal to provide information and develop skills with regard to the Core Labour Standard (CLS) Ratification Campaign.
