  1. World Day for Safety and Health at Work

    The ILO, together with the Ministry of Labour, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) and trade unions will commemorate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on the 28th of April in Colombo.

  2. Workshop on Reform of Trade Union Activities - International Experiences and Perspective of Vietnam, 14 April 2016

    In the series of designing activities for the new Project of industrial relations, this workshop was organized in the purpose of sharing information with Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour about the upcoming reform of trade union activities. This workshop also provided a platform for international experts of industrial relations and labour issues to indicate suitable experiences of other countries as well as their perspectives towards Viet Nam's trade union renovation in the foreseeable future.

  1. EQUIP : Equipping Sri Lanka to Counter Trafficking in Persons

    The Project aims to reduce human trafficking in Sri Lanka by intervening via a three pronged approach (3P’s) : Prevention, Protection and Prosecution through conducting research and awareness to inform regulations and practice, ensuring fair and ethical business recruitment practices are adopted, improving protection services for identified victims and prosecuting and investigating offenders.
