  7. The Environments of the Poor

    As co-organizing agency, the ILO has contributed actively to the preparation of the conference entitled "Environments of the poor", held in Delhi from 24 to 26 November 2010. The ILO ROAP regional office coordinated the preparation of four ILO background papers on the subject and the participation of as many ILO experts from the region in panel discussions. The ILO ROAP Director closed the regional conference together with high level representatives from the ADB and the Government of India.

  1. “Green Light for Green Jobs” – Employers Symposium

    This symposium was held on 30th June 2011 for members of the Employers' Federation of Ceylon (EFC)to raise awareness on the concept of green jobs, to brief them on a proposed green initiative mapping exercise and to build capacities within the EFC (professional staff and organisations in the membership of the EFC).
