ILO partners with African Union to invest in Africa youth targeting ‘1 million by 2021’
ILO Regional Director for Africa, Ms. Cynthia Samuel-Olonjuwon, during the 2nd Pan African Youth Forum: Africa unite for youth, highlighted ILO’s contribution in promoting youth employment through providing expertise in technical and policy guidance, conducting researches to identify bottlenecks that prevent the youth from engaging in the world of work, and engaging the platform of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth to partner with other players to reach ‘1 million by 2021’.
