    This report presents the results of the 2019 Informal Sector Survey (ISS) conducted in Dar es Salaam Region from August to September 2019. The survey was conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Planning and Prime Minister’ Office-Labour, Youth, Employment and Person with Disability.

    The ILO globally aims to provide relevant, timely and comparable labour statistics to develop international standards for better measurement of labour issues and enhanced international comparability. ILO also works with governments and national statistics offices worldwide to develop and improve their labour statistics. ILO provided support to the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, through the National Bureau of Statistics, for the development of the Integrated Labour Force Survey questionnaire. This report presents the Key results of the Integrated Labour Force Survey (ILFS) conducted in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar from July 2020 to June 2021.

    In this paper, the main aspects related to the Moroccan SSE ecosystem, its main protagonists and the public policies that frame it are explored. Also, the means of financing available within the SSE framework in Morocco are analysed. Finally, the issue of the Covid-19 crisis and its impact on the SSE sector in the Moroccan context are explored.
