Giving Voice to the Unprotected Workers in the informal Economy in Africa: The case of Zimbabwe
The majority of the participants in this 'sector' are at the bottom of the economic and social ladder, enduring precarious work, and irregular and insecure incomes with little or no access to social security. Because of the non-application of the law and the absence of collective representation, these workers and entrepreneurs remain extremely vulnerable.
